Luminate Research Article of the Year Award

Luminate Research Article of the Year Award

The Luminate Research Article of the Year Award acknowledges the most exceptional article published in Luminate, the online publication of The Research Society.

This award acknowledges the significant impact that well-researched articles and insightful thought leadership writing have on advancing ideas, methodologies, and the growth of the profession.

  • Articles published in Luminate between 1 October 2024 and 30 August 2025.
  • Articles must be evidence-based, provide substantial thought-leadership and be formally written.
  • Articles containing product or company promotions will not be eligible.
  • Articles must be written exclusively by the author/authors, with only minor grammatical and punctuation revisions permitted by the Editor.
  • The Research Society’s Editor in consultation with the Editorial Advisory Group (EAG) will determine which articles are eligible for entry based on the eligibility criteria. Only articles that have undergone the EAG review process will be considered eligible.
  • Articles that have been published elsewhere, either in whole or in part, are not eligible for the award unless explicitly requested by the author and subsequently approved by the Research Society’s Editor in consultation with the EAG prior to submission.
  • All eligible articles will be automatically considered for the award, unless the author informs The Research Society of their desire not to participate. Authors can opt out by notifying the Editor either during article submission process or after publication, by contacting luminate@researchsociety.com.au before 31 August 2025.
  • The deadline for publication is set for August 31, 2025. We kindly request that draft articles be submitted well in advance of this deadline. Please be aware that while we strive to accommodate all submissions, publication is not guaranteed.
